Playing Texas Hold’em
When learning how to play Hold’em, players must also understand the hands, choosing the best five cards to form the seven card hand. Texas Hold’em and numerous other poker games use the following hands.
· Royal Flush – Five cards in the same suit (A-10)
· Straight Flush – Five straight cards in the same suit
· Four of a Kind – a set of four identical cards
· Full House – two ranked cards and three of the same card
· Flush – Five cards with the same suit
· Straight – Five straight cards
· Three of a Kind – Three of a kind, such as three aces
· Two Pair – A pair of matching cards, such as two aces and two jacks
· One Pai – Two identical cards
· High Card – Five unmatched cards
